Meron-antimeron crystals in noncentrosymmetric itinerant magnets on a triangular lattice

Multiple-$Q$ magnetic states often induce nontrivial topological spin textures, such as a skyrmion and hedgehog. We theoretically investigate yet another multiple-$Q$ state with defects, meron-antimeron crystal (MAX), represented by periodic array of the meron antimeron half-integer number. Performing simulated annealing for an effective model noncentrosymmetric itinerant magnets on triangular lattice, we show that rectangular-shaped triangular-shaped MAXs are stabilized interplay between biquadratic interaction arising from spin-charge coupling Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya spin-orbit coupling. also discuss effect field MAX, where highly anisotropic responses against direction found. In particular, MAX turns into fields along $y$ $z$ directions, while it is replaced chiral $x$ direction. These results would inspire further experimental investigation in magnets.
